Jake Passero is a seasoned entrepreneur and insurance expert specializing in delivering tailored insurance solutions to the construction and real estate industries. With over a decade of experience in commercial lines, risk management, and property underwriting, Jake has become a trusted advisor for industry professionals seeking customized coverage strategies.
As the Partner and Chief Executive Officer of True Insurance Group since November 2023, Jake has been leading the charge in helping businesses navigate the complex landscape of insurance with innovative, industry-specific solutions. His expertise is back by a Commercial Lines Coverage specialist designation. This advanced education equips him with a strategic understanding of risk and operations, making him a valuable asset to his clients.
Prior to his current role, Jake founded and operated CoverCo Insurance Group, where he honed his expertise in creating comprehensive insurance programs for a wide range of clients. His educational background also includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business, providing him with a strong foundation in business and client engagement. Additionally, his certification inInsurance and Risk Management from The University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Professional Education (CPE) demonstrates his commitment to technical excellence in the field.
Jake’s career includes significant roles such as Senior Consultant-Risk Specialist at People 2.0, Commercial Lines Specialist at ABM Insurance & Benefit Services Inc, and Commercial Lines Producer at Dean & Draper Insurance Agency, LP. His early experience as a Property Underwriting Analyst at AmRisc solidified his foundation in risk assessment and underwriting.
